Laelaps are dark brown bear-dogs, similar to that of an Amphicyon. It stands a meter and a half tall, and runs on six legs total. The laelaps also has four ears, making very perceptive at hearing. They can be tamed, but not domesticated, by feeding them 5 pounds of fresh meat, though yelling, hitting, or staring at a laelaps will cause to go into a frenzy, and attack. They get their name from the mythical hunting dog of the same name, who never failed to catch whatever she was hunting. |
