More information...

A raptor is staring at you. Hungrily. For some reason, the raptor has a sword and a breast plate. You suspect you're not the first person to encounter this creature.

This reptillian humanoid has pale green to gray skin with no hair and black eyes. They rarely wear metal armor but often wield spears and other simple weapons. The Lacerti are almost exclusively found far away from other humanoid groups near dinosaurs of various types. They see the dinosaurs as both food source and as an opportunity to prove themselves. Because of this tendancy to strike out on their own, most become barbarians and a few, rangers. Those few outsiders - mostly rangers - that have seen lacerti have often mistaken them for a young deinonychus unless they were carrying spears or similar weapons.

Combat[edit]

The Lacerti often use their natural ability to hide in the shadows or brush and attack from ambush; however, they do not back down from a fight if one presents itself. They see solo opportunities for their own betterment; however, they are not stupid. If withdrawing to make a coordinated attack makes better sense they will do so.
