Kyozu (5e Race)

Kyozu[edit]

Physical Description[edit]

Kyozu's are (usually) 3 large mochi-like creatures that stay together at all times, they usually stay on top of one another with the the one at the very bottom only having long and yet powerful legs while the other two on top only have arms. they all come in different shades of almost any pastel color.

History[edit]

The Kyozu's aren't really known in the real world but are mostly found in the Fey Realm. they are only really told in stories where they are told as a horrifying beast with 3 sets of eyes and 4 arms when in reality it's just Kyozu's being friendly. and due to their friendly nature to everything they usually meet their demise quite quickly due to all 3 being soul-linked to each other.

Society[edit]

Kyozu's don't do much in terms of survival, they only really hang out in groups of 3 walking around and even helping smaller or slightly bigger fey creatures. and due to them helping many creatures they are also loved by a few fey races. their personality are mostly the same with the most aggressive on the top, the ost fearful on in the middle and the most friendly one on the bottom.

Kyozu Names[edit]

Kyozu don't really give each other names but usually call each other numbers or give each other nicknames based on how they have acted to them in the past.

Male: (Any number 1-3), Sir Grumpy, Mr Paranoid, etc

Female: (Any number 1-3), Mrs Joy, Lady Fear, etc

Kyozu Traits[edit]

Some living Mochi with a mind of its own.
Ability Score Increase. Based on your subrace.
Age. Kyozu reach maturity around 5 years old and all of them don't really live longer than 13 years.
Alignment. Kyozu are usually always Chaotic or Neutral but rarely Evil unless mistreated.
Size. Each Kyozu is around 1ft tall and when all together they are 3ft. your size is small.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 35ft. The other Kyozu on top of the bottom one (who is the only one with legs) can pop off and move on their own but can only go 25ft.
3 Sets Of Eyes. You basically have Darkvision... (I know it's boring fight me)
4 Arms. You can hold 2 medium-weight weapons or items, along with 4 light weight weapons or items. but can't hold any heavy-weight weapons or items.
Powerful Legs. You can make a kick as an unarmed strike that does 1d6 plus yourCharisma modifier.
Painful Link. The other Kyozu can come off the bottom one but if they got more then 60ft away from the leader they take 3d12 force damage with no way of avoiding it.
Edible Body. Even after death all the Kyozu are still edible for 2 days but 3 days if stored. 1 Kyozu can feed a party of 4.
Absorbant Body. You can absorb liquids but it will do 1d6 damage for every hour its in your body. (if its liquid poison is poison damage, boiling water is fire damage, water cold damage)
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Sylvan.

1st Kyozu[edit]

Ability Score Increase. you get a +3 to Charisma but get a -1 to Intelligence. (you can't go over 20 with stats)
Dashen. Instead of dashing taking up an action it takes up a bonus action but you can't move next turn.
Friendly. You have disadvantage being charmed but have advantage when being frightened.

2nd Kyozu[edit]

Ability Score Increase. you get a +3 to Dexterity but get a -1 to Wisdom. (you can't go over 20 with stats)
Always On Your Toes. You can add you Dexterity modifier 2 times to your AC/Armor Class
Fearful. You have advantage when being charmed but have disadvantage when being frightened.

3rd Kyozu[edit]

Ability Score Increase. you get a +3 to Strength but get a -1 to Constitution. (you cant go over 20 with stats)
Adrenaline. You can push, pull, and drag large and heavy things just can't pick them up.
Aggressive. You get an advantage with anything, you get another hit dice on top of the one you rolled. (this also counts for critical rolls)
