Kthaar[edit]

I know I stand out, and, yes that does make blending in hard. However, no one ever looks up. I got this. -A Kthhaar who in fact did not have it

Physical Description[edit]

Kthaar are unsually tall humanoids that are distinguishable by their strange hair colors, which are often brighter shades. They are also recognizable by their strange elf-like ears.

History[edit]

Kthaar are a 'mutation' among the more common races such as dwarves, elves, humans, etc. They appeared almost out of nowhere being born seemingly normal, minus the strange ears, it was not until they grew older that it was clear that they were much different than their ancestors. There are many different beliefs on what causes a Kthaar to be born, from it being a curse to just downright bad, or good, luck. Kthaar are often treated the same as anyone else, and live life just like anyone else.

Society[edit]

Kthaar themselves are very rare, only one or two existing in a large city of around 2,000 people. Most of them are treated as equals, sometimes with skepticism in their society. Most usually either work in a family business, or go into jobs that require physical labor.

Kthaar Names[edit]

Kthaar names follow the naming patterns of whatever race they were born from, rarely changing it, and tend to keep the name scheme wit their children as well.

Kthaar Traits[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2 and your Charisma score increases by 1.
Age. Kthaar live and mature like elves even if born from a human, often living hundreds of years, maturing about at 18 years.
Alignment. Kthaar at their core are kind. You 'can not' be of evil alignment, good alignment is most common, but sometimes Kthaar are neutral.
Size. Kthaar very slightly in height and build, most being tall, most above six foot, and slim, however some are much more muscular. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 40 feet.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Strange Nature: Gravity. Unlike most, you ignore some of the basic laws of gravity. You can freely walk on surfaces as if they were the ground, everything on you follows this as well, if you want it to. If something is knocked loose from you however it will fall to the ground. You also however sink to the bottom of liquids as if it was almost not there. while underwater you can not swim, it is as if you are in slightly lower gravity.
Strange Nature: Animals. Animals seem to understand you, and you can also understand them. You can speak to them. You can easily convey messages and understand animals, as if it were a second language. You also are proficient in animal handling.
Keep Your Cool. You are naturally good at resolving fights and issues. You get advantages on Intimidation or Persuasion to avoid or end conflict, or to calm someone down.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common.
