Shapechanger. The demon can use its action to polymorph into a dretch, a tlacatecoco, a vrock, or its true form, a pale winged demon. Its statistics, other than its size, are the same in each form. The demon can't fly in its dretch form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.

Demonic Restoration. If the demon dies outside the Abyss, its body dissolves into ichor, and it gains a new body instantly, reviving with all its hit points somewhere in the Abyss.

Magic Resistance. The demon has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Sunlight Sensitivity. While in sunlight, the demon has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.

Spider Climb. The demon can climb difficult surfaces, including along ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The demon makes two claw attacks and uses bite. The demon can replace each claw attack with bite against incapacitated creatures.

Claw. Melee Attack Roll: +8, reach 5 ft. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) slashing damage plus 7 (2d4) poison damage. If the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it has the grappled condition (escape DC 16) from one of two claws. While in its true form, the krvavrilo can grapple Large or smaller creatures.

Bite. Constitution saving throw: DC 16, one creature within 5 feet that is willing or that has the grappled, incapacitated, or restrained condition. Failure: 7 (1d6 + 4) piercing damage plus 18 (4d8) necrotic damage. The target's hit point maximum decreases by an amount equal to the necrotic damage taken, and the demon regains hit points equal to that amount. If a creature’s hit point maximum is reduced to 0 by this action or bonus action, its corpse transforms into an abyssal wretch.

BONUS ACTIONS

Abyssal Agility. The demon takes the dash, disengage, or dodge action. It also immediately ends the grappled or restrained condition on itself.

Drink Deep. The demon can use bite. If the target already failed bite’s saving throw during this turn, it has disadvantage on this bite’s saving throw.

Unwind the Mind. (Recharge 6) Wisdom saving throw: DC 14, one creature within 60 feet that can see the krvavrilo. Failure: 17 (5d6) psychic damage and the creature is stunned for 1 minute. At the end of its turns, the creature can repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on a success or taking 17 (5d6) psychic damage on a failure. The demon gains temporary hit points equal to the psychic damage dealt by this action.

One of the worst fates, beyond their daily existence, to befall a vampire spawn is to see their sire fall before them, freeing them from their will but also forever denying them the possibility of ascending to become a full vampire, regardless of how many centuries of faithful service they may have put towards that effort. Given that dead end, some such bloodsuckers will turn to abyssal magics for a different sort of metamorphosis. Using a ritual known only to a few Sibriexes and a lot of demonic ichor, a vampire spawn may be transformed into a terrifying new demonic form with none of their former weaknesses save an increased thirst for blood and photosensitivity. All at the low, low cost of eternal servitude to their new fiendish creator and maybe a little bit of sanity.

Variant: Blood Magic

Thanks to the inherent chaos in demonic ichor, some krvavrilo come out of their transfiguration with magical powers. You can give a krvavrilo the Innate Spellcasting feature detailed below and increase its CR to 14 (11500xp).

Innate Spellcasting. The demon's spellcasting ability is Charisma (+6 spell attack modifier, spell save DC 14). The demon can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

At will: chaos bolt, hex, melf's acid arrow, wrathful smite
5/day each: darkness, hold person, misty step, ray of enfeeblement, wither and bloom
3/day each: bestow curse, slow, summon undead
1/day each: harm, steel wind strike
