Knight of the Divine[edit]

Highly Faithful knights worshiping a deity. Knights of the Divine are highly effective warriors with outstanding resilience to both physical and magical attacks. Knights of the Divine cannot cross-Class into any non religious class or have ever been a non religious class. Knights of the Divine believe in using raw emotion and physical strength to beat any challenge. Knights of the Divine believe that magic should not mass kill but aid their fellows in combat and heal/protect the weak.


History[edit]

Knights of the Divine are renowned throughout ages of Knights and Paladins. Just like Paladins and Knights, Knight of the Divine can be under any Deity and be any race. They, however, are truly Faithful until they last draw breath. They live with steadfast actions and devotion to their deity. They are known throughout history as not only Avengers of their Deity, but of their people and country as well. When they are in combat, they are harsh and will win by any means. Whether it be by their defense, or brutal, and tactful offense.

Making a Knight of the Divine[edit]

Knights of the Divine are the favored knights of their god, defending and avenging the faith more effectively than a than any single mortal ever could. When Making a Knight of the Divine create an oath, once a Oath has been obtained the Knight of the Divine must uphold this oath or lose all of his/her abilities (RP strongly required). If fighting a magic user Knights of the Divine target them first with their rage.



Abilities: Strength, Wisdom, and Charisma.

Races: Any

Alignment: "Any Good or lawful".

Deity Must worship/be a Deity of Divine Rank 5 or higher

Starting Gold: starting gold; 2d6 X 100

Starting Age: "Simple"

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Knight of the Divine

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Knights of the Divine can only use 2 melee weapons and 2 ranged weapons (which are picked at level 1).Knights of the Divine are proficient with the choice of Light,Medium or Heavy Armor (chosen at level 1). Knights of the Divine cannot use weapons or armor they have not selected

Special Knights of the Divine are counted as Spontaneous Divine Spell casters when it comes to feats and turning undead(CL=Class level)

Special A Knight of the Divine can turn undead times per day equal to 1/2 his/her Charisma Modifier.

Armor Specialization (Ex): A Knight of the Divine has increased abilities in one type of armor which is selected at level 1. Once the armor type is selected a Knight of the Divine cannot wear any of the opposing type.

Divine Marksmanship A Knight of the Divine uses his/her Wisdom instead of their Dexterity when it comes to all ranged combat.

Divine Grace A Knight of the Divine applies 1/2 of his/her Charisma modifier (if Possible) to all of his/her Saving Throws.

Divine Blessing At level 15 a Knight of the Divine may choose either to increase DR:/- by 1/2 character level or gain Divine rank 0. or increase SR by 1/2 character level.

Divine Blessing At level 20 a Knight of the Divine can gain immunity to 1 type of damage (slashing,bludgeoning,Piercing) or gain immunity to 1 element of DM's Choice, or increase Divine Rank by 1.

Coat of Arms Starting at 3rd level a Knight of the Divine's armor specialization has enhanced their abilities while wearing their chosen armor type. If wearing Light armor the AC of that armor type is doubled but retains all normal penalties. If wearing Medium Armor add 1/2 base AC to armor and 1/2 base AC from armor as DR/- rounded down. (IE if AC 5 add 2 AC for a total of 7 and add 2 DR/-.).If Heavy armor add DR:/- equal to AC given from armor. In addition by adding magic to armor (IE +1,+2...) increase AC in addition to normal buffs.

Great Rage (Ex): Starting at 2nd level when a Knight of the Divine enters combat he/she must succeed at a DC 25 Will Save or enter a rage that enhances their combat abilities.A Knight of the Divine may willingly enter their rage if they do then they could willingly end it. When a Knight of the Divine goes into their rage they increase their Strength by 6, increase their base speeds by 20 ft and gain Temporary Hit Points equal to 2x their Constitution score. A Knight of the Divine can rage equal to 1/2 his/her Strength mod a times per day. The rage lasts 1/2 Str mod Rounds or until combat ends. A Knight of the Divine does not fatigue from rage if they succeed on a DC: 25 Fort Save and can use any class abilities they know but only Climb, Spot, and listen for skill checks.

Weapon Selection (Su): A Knight of the Divine has been trained to use 4 types of weapons and those alone. Starting at level one the Knight of the Divine chooses any 2 melee weapons and any two ranged weapons they now have proficiency in those weapons and nothing else.

Bonus Feat (Ex): A Knight of the Divine can select bonus feats from fighters selection,general or epic if eligible.

Ex-Knight of the Divine[edit]

If a Knight of the Divine defiles his own belief he must undertake a special holy mission given to him by his god or be challenge by that gods champion. If the Knight of the Divine wins the challenge then all is forgiven and he/she may return to their duties.

Campaign Information[edit]

Organizations: Members of the Knight of the Divine are all Allies of the same cause. Though, there are very few of them, all know of their Legend... Though none know that they all are brethren and have safe-havens throughout any countryside. Most Knight of the Divine are feared, or revered to the point of being hunted. Only Arch-Paladins, and other high ranking church members know of their locations, habits, and most important of all: their identities.

Knight of the Divine info: If a Knight of the Divine uses weapons or armor that did not chose at level one they take 6d10 sub-dual damage a round until rendered unconscious

Knight of the Divine Lore[edit]

Characters with ranks in knowledge world lore can research Knight of the Divine to learn more about them. When a character makes a skill check, read or paraphrase the following, including information from lower DCs.

Knight of the Divine in the Game[edit]

Adaptation: protector, fierce warrior, mediator. Sample Encounter:

One man sticks out as he bears the symbol of a deity.
He rides in on a horse that responds perfectly to him.
As he rides in, taking down one foe at a time whether be his horse his sword or himself
His allies moral increases, his fellow Paladins and Knights.
For his unique sword, His unique mount, and his swift action seal him as Knight of the Divine
His stern, fire red eyes sit cold to his foes, and warm to those otherwise.
