Killer[edit]

Fighter Subclass

Killers are fighters who uses necromantic energy to empower their strikes and raise their foes as undead servants.

Necromantic Strike

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, once per turn when you hit an enemy with an melee weapon attack you can choose to deal 1d8 extra necrotic damage.

Animated Death

At 7th level, you gain the ability to infuse corpses with necrotic energy, animating them. If a beast or a humanoid that is Small or Medium is reduced to 0 hit points by the Necromantic Strike, you can use your reaction to animate it, causing it to stand up immediately with 1 hit point. The creature uses the Zombie stat block in the Monster Manual. It remains animate for 1 hour, after which time it collapses and dies.

In combat, the zombie's turn comes immediately after yours. It obeys your mental commands, and the only action it can take is the Attack action, making one melee attack.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.

Slayer

When you reach 10th level choose two of the following creature types: aberrations, beasts, celestials, dragons, elementals, fey, fiends, giants, monstrosities, or oozes. Alternatively you can select two types of humanoids and one creature type or you could choose four types of humanoids (such as orcs and goblins). Your Necromantic Strike always deal maximized damage to the chosen types.

Death for Life

When you reach 15th level, you can use your bonus action to regain hit points equal to half the necrotic damage you deal whenever you use the Necromantic Strike against a creature that is not a construct or undead.

You can't have more than half your maximum hit points to benefit from this feature.

Supreme Necrotic

At 18th level, you learn the animate dead spell as a 5th level spell. Once you cast the spell using this feature, you can't do it again until you finish a short or a long rest.

Additionally you learn to draw on the energy of the dead. Whenever you take damage you may choose to transfer that damage to a zombie or skeleton you control as a reaction. If the creature is reduced to 0 hit points, you suffer the remaining damage.
