Kill the Tarrasque at level 1 (5e Optimized Character Build)
From D&D Wiki
It isn't an obscure fact that the tarrasque is a poorly created monster. In fact, it was so carelessly designed that there are multiple ways to kill it with a level one character. As impossible as this sounds, it's a fact and I'm going to prove it.
To begin, my character will be an Aaracockra (for the flying speed), with an Intelligence of at least 16. The other scores aren't important. Second, I am choosing the Wizard class although most spellcasting classes would work just as well. There are a couple of cantrips that would work for this build, so just choose something that reflective carapace won't apply to, and the tarrasque isn't immune to. The acid splash cantrip does this job fine.
I'm going to begin by flying at least 14 feet above the head of the tarrasque so it can't jump and attack me. Next, spam the acid splash cantrip until your poor wand can't summon up any more acid.
The spell save DC will be 13 and, thus the tarrasque will have to roll 13 or higher to avoid the damage. However, it has three auto-successes and advantage on the save, since it's against magic. Thus, its average roll will be 15. It will fail about 33 percent of the time (33.5 percent to be exact). The average damage for the cantrip is 3.5 damage against the 676 hit points of the tarrasque. That is about 195 hits necessary, or about 6,473 attempts. This should take a little more that 11 in-game hours.
I won't have to worry about frightful presence, since I will be immune after the first use. Even so, chances are that I'll succeed the first time. In addition, the tarrasque can use legendary resistance only 3 times, because the fight is less than 24 hours.
The tarrasque is left with two options: run or hide. It wouldn't be too hard to back it into a pre-setup hole from which you could bombard it with acid. As long as you take the time to prepare, killing the tarrasque is no hard feat. In fact, you could lure it into a hole and acid splash it without using an inch of flying speed. Just make sure that hole is at least 14 feet deep and the tarrasque can't climb up the walls.
The tarrasque is now dead with over six thousand splashes of acid dripping from his corpse. I hope this proves to you that the tarrasque is not very well designed.
Please let me know if I have overlooked something or missed a rule! Thanks!
