Ki Soul[edit]
Sorcerer Subclass
Ki is the mystical vital force that flows trough all living beings. Sorcerers with this origin are born with the ability to channel and control their ki, which grants them magical abilities and an unparalleled controlled over their own bodies and minds.
- Ki Spells
Starting at 1st level, you learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Ki Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.
Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be a divination or an enchantment spell from the sorcerer spell list.
- 1st-Level. Feather Fall, Zephyr Strike, Shillelagh
- 3rd-level. Enhance Ability, Misty Step
- 5th-level. Haste, Water Walk
- 7th-level. Staggering Smite, Freedom of Movement
- 9th-level. Steel Wind Strike, Skill Empowerment
- Unarmored Defense
While not wearing armor, your AC equals 10 + your Constitution modifier + your Charisma modifier.
- Martial Prodigy
Starting at 1st level, the ki running trough your body grant you a natural ability to fight. You roll a d4 instead of the normal damage for unarmed strikes. This damage increases to a d6 at 9th level and a d8 at 17th level.
In addition, you add your Charisma modifier, instead of your Dexterity, to all attacks and damage rolls made with unarmed strikes and weapons you are proficient with. Your unarmed strikes count as light melee weapons with the finesse property for the purpose of spells.
- Shadowless Strikes
Starting at 6th level, whenever you cast a cantrip on your turn, you can make an unarmed strike on your turn without spending an action.
In addition, your unarmed strikes are considered magical for the purposes of overcoming resistances and immunity to non-magical damage.
- Enhanced Movement
When you reach the 6th level, you can use your ki to enhance your speed and mobility. You can spend 1 sorcery point to take the Dash, Disengage, Dodge or to make one attack with a weapon or unarmed strike as a bonus action.
Whenever you spend a sorcery point on your turn or cast a spell from your Ki Soul spell list, you can use this feature without spending sorcery points.
- Diamond Soul
Beginning at 14th level, your mastery of ki grants you proficiency in all saving throws.
Additionally, whenever you make a saving throw and fail, you can spend 1 sorcery point to reroll it and take the second result.
- Empty Body
Beginning at 18th level, you can use your action to spend 4 sorcery points to become invisible for 1 minute. During that time, you also have resistance to all damage but force damage.
