Living Motor. The karabuk can move twice its speed on its turn if it only moves in a straight line.

Breaking Wheel. The karabuk counts as one size larger when moving a grappled creature, and when it moves with a grappled creature, the creature takes 3 (1d6) bludgeoning damage for every 20 feet the karabuk moves.

Charge. If the karabuk moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a claw attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 9 (2d8) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The karabuk makes three attacks: two with its claws, and one with its tongue or bite.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 4) slashing damage.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (3d6 + 4) piercing damage.

Tongue. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it is grappled by the karabuk (escape DC 15). Until the grapple ends, the karabuk can't make tongue attacks.

Slime Breath (Recharge 5-6). The karabuk exhales a burst of thick mucus, which covers a 20 foot cone ahead of it. All creatures in that area must make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw or be restrained until it breaks free. A creature restrained by the mucus can use its action to make a DC 14 Strength check. If it succeeds, it is no longer restrained. The area becomes difficult terrain for 1 minute.

Among the members of snake-like dragons native to Calavera, the karabuk belongs to a group with exceptionally dextrous and lethal tongues. Its most famous move, however, is its ability to curl its tail up and fold it into a flap on the roof of its mouth, forming itself into a ring. It can then propel itself forward to amazing speeds using its many legs, while still slashing with its claws, gnashing with its lower jaw, and constricting with its tongue, dragging hapless targets across the landscape to be swallowed whole or fed to its offspring.
