More information...

Large, living bullets, Jawbreakers use their own bodies to slam people in the face, propelled by gust exhausts. See an ungainly adventurer lying on the floor with an indented nose? Raise your shields!

These small orblike constructs have a smooth, etched metal surface that is only interrupted by a multitude of small round exhaust orifices for the purpose of propelling it forward. A Jawbreaker is 6 inches from side to side and weighs 4 pounds.

Combat[edit]

Jawbreakers attack by propelling themselves like ballistic objects against those that are designated its enemies. When they do not attack and lie still, it requires a DC 28 Spot check to notice that it is actually a construct.

Hardness: Treat the jawbreaker as an object made predominantly, if not entirely, of iron or steel, with hardness 10.

Magic Immunity (Ex): A jawbreaker is immune to any spell or spell-like ability that allows spell resistance, except force effects and prismatic effects.

Propelled Thrust (Ex): Usually, the Jawbreaker just rolls harmlessly, until it is in attacking range. When it does, it suddenly propels itself towards the chosen target. During attack, treat the jawbreaker as a projectile dealing 1d10 bludgeoning damage. The Jawbreaker itself does not take damage from its 'body slam' attack. If the attack fails, it hits the ground again and travels its base land speed (30 ft.) before coming silent. If it hits a target larger than itself, it rebounds from the target and lands up to half its base land speed (15 ft.) away from the target (provided that it is at liberty to move that far). If it is the same size or smaller, the Jawbreaker plows on in the same manner as if it does when it misses. Jawbreakers use their Dexterity modifier for attack rolls.
