Jawas[edit]

Personality[edit]

Jawas are scrappers and hagglers by trade, and are often obsessed with finding, scrapping, and reselling technology. They are often seen riding across the dunes of Tatooine in Sandcrawlers, scavenging any technology they can find, even if it's still in use. They are shrewd and cunning, but when not searching for technology to resell, their personalities can vary greatly.

Physical Description[edit]

Jawas are short, humanoid creatures with black skin, black hair, and glowing eyes of either red, yellow, or orange. They are always clothed in an insulated, waterproof cloak that covers their entire body, from infancy until their death. As they grow older, this cloak is hemmed to match their new height. A fully grown Jawa often has between 5 and 6 hems in their cloak.

Relations[edit]

Jawa get along with most races, even the notoriously aggressive Sand People of their home planet Tatooine.

Alignment[edit]

Jawa can be of any alignment, but most favor neutral alignments.

Lands[edit]

They are native to the a sand dunes of Tatooine, but Offworld Jawas can be found almost anywhere, having migrated from Tatooine on some type of transport ship.

Religion[edit]

Jawas do not tend towards any religion in particular, but many revere the technology that they scavenge and resell. They don't worship it, but it becomes very much an important part of their culture.

Language[edit]

Jawas speak Jawaese, a language only available to Jawa, as it involves verbal and scent-based communication. Jawa can also fluently speak Jawa Trade Talk, a simplified, verbal-only form of communication used in trade. While very uncommon, Jawas can also learn other languages.
