Intelligence (Science) (5e Skill)
From D&D Wiki
Intelligence (Science)[edit]
Lacking a way of interacting with their minds for checks to use tools, perform experiments, or do anything outside of the arcane, a DM may add the Intelligence (Science) skill to the character sheets around the table. This skill could be used for figuring out mechanisms, developing tools (especially incorporating tools that would otherwise be anachronistic), performing alchemy, or crafting. This is not a skill that would be available to any current classes, but could be applied for more intellectual classes like alchemists or tinkerers. Dwarves and Gnomes may also be able to have a racial proficiency in the Science skill.
