Amorphous. The golem can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.

Immutable Form. The golem is immune to any spell or effect that would alter its form.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The golem can take a Quick Movement action; it then makes two attacks, only one of which can be with its ink blob.

Explode. Each creature within 40 feet of the ink golem must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking 65 (10d10 + 10) poison damage and being knocked prone on a failed save, or taking half as much damage and staying upright on a success. This action reduces the ink golem to 0 hit points.

Ink Blob. Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 30 ft., one target Hit: 18 (4d8) poison damage. Creatures within 10 feet of the target must succeed on a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw or take 9 (2d8) poison damage.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (2d10 + 9) bludgeoning damage plus 18 (4d8) poison damage.

Quick Movement. The golem launches itself, landing upright in a space up to 40 feet away. It may choose a space occupied by another creature; if it does, the creature is pushed to the nearest unoccupied space and must successfully make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or take 10 (3d6) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone.

A huge blob of rainbow ink given life by a powerful mage to protect priceless books. If it cannot protect what it guards from intruders, it explodes, killing them and stopping anything else from using the knowledge. After doing so, it will reform in 2d4 days if left alone, congealing itself from excess ink and restoring the books to usable condition.

Constructed Nature. The ink golem doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep.
