Snapping your fingers, any amount of your attuned sand you wish bursts into flame. Those in contact with it when it initially ignites take 4d6 fire damage and those within 5 feet take 1d6 + 1 / 2 technician levels. Afterwords, those that remain in contact with the sand take 1d10 fire damage each round at the start of their turn.
The heat that radiates from the attuned sand's fire is enough to melt ice into water, set fire to wood, and light oil or pitch on fire.
By expending an additional 12 technique points, you may use this technique as a swift action.

Note: This spell isn't part of all Sandbender's Technique List, you can only learn this Technique if you have the Wielder of the Black Sand Class Feature.
