Ignis Aetherian Drakora[edit]

Physical Description[edit]

Ignis Aetherian Drakora are strikingly beautiful and imposing. They stand between 5 and 7 feet tall with a slender yet muscular build. Their skin often has a faint, shimmering quality, reflecting their draconic heritage, and ranges in color from deep reds and oranges to more elven tones. Their eyes glow with a fiery intensity, and their hair, often flowing and ethereal, can resemble flames or the night sky. Some Ignis Aetherian Drakora also possess subtle draconic features, such as small horns or scales.

Racial Traits[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity, Constitution, and Intelligence scores each increase by 3. Your Charisma score increases by 4.
Age. Ignis Aetherian Drakora reach maturity at the age of 20 and can live up to 500 years.
Alignment. Ignis Aetherian Drakora value freedom, knowledge, and self-expression. They lean towards chaotic alignments and are often evil, though some may be neutral.
Size. Ignis Aetherian Drakora stand between 5 and 7 feet tall with a slender but muscular build. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 35 feet. Your base flying speed is 70 feet.
Darkvision. Accustomed to the twilight of ancient forests and volcanic caverns, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Elemental Affinity. You have Immunity to fire damage.
Draconic Heritage. You have draconic ancestry. You can use your action to exhale fire in a 15-foot cone. When you use your breath weapon, each creature in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus). A creature takes 2d6 fire damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. The damage increases to 3d6 at 6th level, 4d6 at 11th level, and 5d6 at 16th level. After you use your breath weapon, you can't use it again until you complete a short or long rest.
Fey Ancestry. You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.
Innate Magic. You know the produce flame cantrip. At 3rd level, you can cast the burning hands spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Constitution is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Trance. Ignis Aetherian Drakora don’t need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, Elvish, and Draconic, Celestial.
