Huge (3.5e Template)[edit]
A creature with this template is much bigger then normal.
Huge Creatures[edit]
Huge Creatures are individuals who grew way beyond the normal for their race. They still are "normal" members of their race, just ridiculously huge.
Creating a Huge Creature[edit]
A creature can become huge during its adulthood, or as a result of magic. It can be applied to any living creature, and sometimes resurrected undead. Such a creature possesses all the base creature’s statistics except as noted here.
Size and Type[edit]
A huge creature increase one size category from its base size. Its type does not change.
Hit Dice[edit]
Huge creatures gain +2 HP/level as giant, barbarian or barbarian-specific prestige class. Arcane classes don't gain any HP bonus, other classes gain +1 HP/level (or HD).
Speed[edit]
If the base creature have the Run feat as a race-given feat, it gains +5ft to ground speed.
Armor Class[edit]
If the base creature have natural armor, it gains +1 natural armor for every 4 the base creature have, rounded down.
Attack & Full Attack[edit]
If the base creature have natural attack(s), the damage done change to reflect the change in size (see this link).
Special Attacks[edit]
Same, if the base creature have a special attack(s) that does damage, the damage done change to reflect the cange in size.
Special Qualities[edit]
If the base creature have flight, its maneuverability is one category less. If the base creature maneuverability is clumsy, you can still use you'r wings to gain +10 bonus to jump checks, and redure up to 20tf from falling for damage purposes.
Abilities[edit]
+2 Strength, –2 Dexterity and any other changes according to the size category table.
Skills[edit]
Due to growing up so big, huge creatures know all the subtle ways to use their size and strength to intimidate. Gains +2 bonus to intimidate checks and can use strength modifier to intimidate.
Feats & Flaws[edit]
Cannot take flaws that reduce size, health, resilience or involve eating/digesting issues.
