Damage Reduction (Su): A Houou has DR 2/evil. While in Houou form, a Disciple of the Flame gains DR 2/evil, this damage reduction increases to 4/evil at 5th level and 6/evil and 10th level.
Spell Resistance (Su): A Houou has SR 15. A Disciple of the Flame in Houou form gains spell resistance 10 + HD.
Burn (Su): A Houou is capable of igniting itself as a free action. Anything it touches, or touching it, must succeed at a reflex save (DC 10 + 1/2 HD + Con modifier) to avoid catching fire.
Fire Subtype (Ex): Fire immunity, double damage from cold except on a successful save.
The prestige class related to this creature is the Disciple of the Flame.
