The horned hulks are possibly distant Athasian relatives to the umber hulk who dwell deep in Cthonia and near the jagged cliffs, they combine their paralyzing eye powers with their massive horned charges and grappling jaws to hurl enemies from high cliffs or completely smash them with a trampling charge. Their bodies are generally quadrupedal and more powerful than their distant kin the umber hulks. It is rumored that Horned Hulk's might actually be massive life shaped suits of armor... generally used for siege combat and labor... if this is true the Horned Hulks might discharge their dead pilots after they are slain in battle and open up the players to the various varieties of "spirit warriors" that were possibly constructed by the ancient Rhulisti civilizations during their battle against the brown tide or in their civil wars. |
