  1. The SRD only gives a means to determine costs and weights of weapons for Large and Small versions based on the Medium weapons. Any other supplied values are the author's best determination.

These Medium arrows are black and evil looking. They have unusually cruel looking arrowheads, with large barbs and wicked points. Close inspection shows additional small barbs on the flat surfaces of the arrowheads, and the equivalent of fishhooks set in the shafts--facing the same way as the arrowhead barbs, and going a few inches up the shafts. The point is clearly to make these arrows as difficult, destructive, and painful as possible to remove. They do an additional 1d6 damage upon removal. In addition, their black appearance is due to their coating of Worg blood; the evil aura creates a -1 attack penalty for Neutral users, and a -2 penalty for Good users.
