The Hobbit sling is similar to normal slings, except that the sturdy construction allows this Small one to hurl rocks up to the size of a Hobbit's fist, doing damage as a Medium sling (1d4). This is an exotic weapon, but Hobbits (or Halflings, if preferred) gain the Exotic Weapon Proficiency feat for the Hobbit sling as a racial feat. The user's Str bonus applies to the damage roll as usual.
