Hexrogue[edit]

Rogue Subclass

Hexrogues are masters of curses, able to use hexes in order to weaken the bodies and minds of their targets, bestowing bad luck and stealing their good luck. Hexrogues can be cruel murderers who taint their targets souls with deathly curses, tricky gamblers that impose misfortune upon their competitors and thieves who never manage to be caught, due to great bad luck on guards attempting to capture them.

Hexes

Starting at 3rd level, you are able hurl curses upon your enemies. You learn the Hex spell, which you can cast using your bonus action. The spell is cast at a level equal to half your Rogue level.

You can't lose concentration on this spell, but you otherwise can't cast spells that require concentration, nor use features that would prevent you from concentrating on spells.

Cursed Strikes

Also at 3rd level, you don't need Advantage on attack rolls to use Sneak Attack against creatures under the effect of your Hex. Once you use this feature to cast your Hex, you can't do it again until you finish a short or a long rest.

Baneful Hex

At 9th level, whenever a creature hexed by you attempt to make an attack roll, contested ability check or saving throw against you, it must roll 1d6 and subtract from the result.

Steal Luck

At 13th level, when the target of your Hex have Advantage on an attack, check or save, you can use your reaction to force that creature to roll normally instead. When you do so, you gain Advantage on the next attack, check or save made until the end of your next turn.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain your uses after finishing a long rest.

Bad Omen

When you reach the 17th level, you can cast eyebite once, without spending spell slots or material components. You can't do it again until you finish a long rest.
