Help talk:Legal
From D&D Wiki
The original text that I copypasta'd over said, "You may, of course, choose the Open Game License v1.0a, Creative Commons Attributed Noncommercial Share Alike, and others at a pages creation.", but I can not see any function to actually do this with a page. It can only be done with file uploads. I took a screenshot of the options available to file uploads.
Is it intended that these licenses be avalable, or are they supposed to use a template to mark them otherwise? I notice the {{Cc-by-nc-sa}} template used to link to its legal document, but it seems that was never actually uploaded to the wiki for some reason. Is that template still valid? or was it part of an older policy? How would this work, given our policies and the actual contents of the GNU-FDL? --Kydo (talk) 17:28, 26 September 2016 (MDT)
I also noticed that the cc-by-nc-sa template does not currently exist on any pages, AND it is the only template in category:license tag. If it was never fully implemented, then we should implement it. If we decided against it, we should just remove it and correct the policy accordingly. --Kydo (talk) 18:53, 26 September 2016 (MDT)
