Hedonist (5e Subclass)
From D&D Wiki
Hedonist[edit]
Bard Subclass
The Hedonist is a bard that revels in the pursuit of pleasure, indulging in the delights of life and drawing inspiration from the sensory experiences and emotions it brings. Hedonists are charismatic performers who weave enchanting tales of desire, passion, and hedonistic pursuits, captivating their audiences with their magnetic presence and enticing melodies.
- Hedonistic Inspiration
At 3rd level, you gain the ability to inspire others through pleasure and sensual allure. As a bonus action, you can choose a number of creatures equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one creature) within 60 feet of you. Each chosen creature gains temporary hit points equal to your Bard level plus your Charisma modifier. Additionally, whenever a creature gains temporary hit points from this feature, they can choose to gain advantage on Charisma-based ability checks until the temporary hit points are depleted.
- Sensual Performance
Starting at 3rd level, you learn to infuse your performances with sensual energy that stirs the emotions of those who witness them. When you use your Bardic Inspiration feature, you can choose to enhance it with sensual allure. If a creature uses your Bardic Inspiration die to add to an ability check, attack roll, or saving throw and the roll succeeds, the target of the roll also gains temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier plus your proficiency bonus.
- Hedonistic Charisma
At 6th level, your sheer charisma and magnetic presence radiate an aura of pleasure and indulgence. You and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you have advantage on Charisma saving throws and resistance to psychic damage. Additionally, whenever you roll a Bardic Inspiration die, you can roll a d4 and add the result as bonus psychic damage to one creature of your choice that you hit with a weapon attack or damaging spell before the end of your turn.
- Blissful Resurgence
Upon reaching 14th level, your hedonistic pursuits grant you resilience and rejuvenation. Whenever you roll initiative and have no uses of Bardic Inspiration remaining, you regain one use. Additionally, when you spend a hit die to regain hit points during a short rest, you can roll your Bardic Inspiration die and add the result to the hit points regained.
