Cumbersome staves, crafted from solid metal. Usually, seven-foot tall, three to four inches in diameter, and with a smooth rounded head at either end. These weapons seem rather impractical until you see a horse skull or a knight's plate armor shatter under the force delivered by an end of a Heavy War Staff! Its use is simplistic with attack types being somewhere between a normal quarterstaff and a bat, making it just slightly less accessible to the average person.
Prerquisites: Str Modifier of +5 or greater.
If an otherwise proficient wielder has less than a +5 Strength modifier, he takes a -6 on all attacks and damage; if an otherwise proficient wielder has less than +2 Strength modifier he takes a -8 penalty to all attacks and damage; if an otherwise proficient wielder has less than a +0 Strength modifier he may not wield this weapon.
