Spreading your attuned sand into a cloud of deadly dust. Creatures must hold their breath when moving through it or inhale a potentially fatal amount of it. Once inhaled, the sand particles travel through the subject's bloodstream and lodge up in the heart. It takes 3 rounds for the sand to arrive there and once there they begin attempting to stop the heart by causing a heart attack.
The affected creature must succeed a Fortitude save or suffer wracking pains that knock them prone. They must then make another save each round for the next 5 rounds.
The first successful save allows the creature to stand and take 1 standard action or move action a round.
Failing a save renders the creature helpless or counters a successful save. Two failed saves in a row kills the creature.
Surviving all 5 rounds or getting two successful saves in a row cures the creature of the effect but leaves it fatigued.
You may spend an additional 5 technique points to increase the radius of the cloud by 5 feet. This may be done any number of times and requires an additional cubic foot of attuned sand each time.
You may spend no more than twice your technician level in additional technique points on this technique.
Material Component: 2 cubic feet of Attuned Sand
Note: This spell isn't part of all Sandbender's Technique List, you can only learn this Technique if you have the Wielder of the Red Sands Class Feature.
