To create an Explosion Hashira, think about how your character uses their explosive power. Do they specialize in devastating force with every strike? Are they driven by a need for vengeance or destruction? Were they a former soldier, or have they taken up the mantle of Hashira through their mastery of the destructive techniques of Explosion Breathing?

Hashira Resolve[edit]

At 1st level, you gain a powerful inner resolve, represented by the ability to recover from injuries and push through debilitating effects. As a reaction, you can spend a hit die to regain hit points equal to the roll of the hit die + your Constitution modifier. This ability refreshes after a short or long rest.

Breathing Style[edit]

At 3rd level, you choose **Explosion Breathing** as your primary style. This Breathing technique specializes in creating powerful explosive bursts that decimate anything in its path. Your mastery of Explosion Breathing grants you new techniques that will devastate your foes.

Combat Mastery[edit]

At 5th level, you gain the ability to focus on perfecting one combat technique. Choose one of the following: Precision Strike, Deflecting Strike, or Explosive Strike. This allows you to use your action to enhance a single attack in combat, with additional effects based on your chosen technique.

Explosion Breathing Techniques[edit]

As an Explosion Hashira, your techniques are focused on creating explosive power. Below are your signature abilities:

Detonation Strike

At 3rd level, your attacks are empowered by explosive force. When you hit with a melee weapon attack, you can deal an extra 1d6 thunder damage.

Blast Wave

At 6th level, you can unleash a shockwave of explosive force in a 10-foot cone in front of you. Creatures within the cone must make a Constitution saving throw or take 2d6 thunder damage, or half as much on a successful save. You can use this ability once per long rest.

Explosive Eruption

At 14th level, you can release a devastating explosion centered on yourself. As an action, you can create a 15-foot radius explosion that forces all creatures within the area to make a Dexterity saving throw or take 4d6 thunder damage and be knocked prone. Creatures that succeed take half damage and are not knocked prone.

Fighting Spirit[edit]

At 10th level, you tap into the raw fury of your explosions, channeling your inner rage into a single, overpowering attack. Once per long rest, when you hit with an attack, you can deal an extra 3d6 thunder damage and cause all creatures within 10 feet of the target to make a Constitution saving throw or be deafened for 1 minute.

Demon Slayer's Final Stand[edit]

At 18th level, when you drop to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to remain standing for 1 additional round, gaining temporary hit points equal to your Hashira level. During this round, all of your attacks deal an extra 2d6 thunder damage.
