The child of a Halfing and Tiefling, the half-tiefling inherited the main traits from both. They have the size of a Halfling, and the skin, tail, and horns of a Tiefling. There are very few half-tiefling, and those that exist live in small villages together, hiding from the world because of their very strange appearance.

Play a half-tiefling if you want...

  • To have to overcome both the fear of you and the ridiculous size
  • To be good at hiding and stealing
  • To be a member of a race that favors the warlock, rogue, bard and psion classes

Physical Qualities[edit]

The half-tiefling's appearance is like a shrunken Tiefling. They have horns large for their size; thick, non-prehensile tails that are about two to three feet long; sharp teeth; and eyes that are solid orbs. Their skin tone covers the human range and includes all shades of red, Generally closer to blood than brick. Their hair is red, dark blue, purple, and human colors. They are just like a Tiefling, except downsized.

Half-tieflings like dark colors and reds, furs and leathers, buckles and spikes.

Playing a Half-Tiefling[edit]

The cross of a Tiefling and Halfling with varying traits of both.

Half-Tiefling Characteristics: Sneaky, bold, mysterious, proud, rebellious

Names: Half-Tieflings have names traditional to Tieflings and Halflings, because of their parents.

Half-Tiefling Adventurers[edit]

Three sample half-tiefling adventurers are described below.

Akmenos is a half-tiefling warlock. Not only does he have to overcome the dark side from his race and his infernal pact, but he has to overcome his size. He is a vicious fighter, showing enemies that size doesn't matter. He feels compassion to both Tieflings and Halflings.

Corrin is a half-tiefling rogue. He, unlike most half-tiefling, enjoys his size, and uses it to hide in small places. He is now one of the lead assassins in his gang. Although he gets paid well, he hates being an assassin, and plans to overthrow the gang when he can get enough troops. For now, though, he patiently waits.

Sorrow is a half-tiefling fighter. He is a soldier for his village, and protects the village with his life. They are on the edge of a wild land of monsters, so they are constantly under attack. Because of this, he is one of the best fighters in the land.
