Dwarf Subrace[edit]

The giants were beings that commonly saw smaller folk as that beneath them. However, they had been proven wrong before by the ingenuity of smaller races. Time and time again, they were confounded at instances where a gnome's tinkering or a dwarf's forge product managed to best them. Thus, Annam sought to give a prize to the smaller folk, as his recognition of their skill in the face of adversity. Those who were touched by this gift came to bear a new strength, that of giants. These half-giant dwarves, as they were called, are larger than normal dwarves, with longer limbs and greater strength in their well-built bodies.
