Guidance Assister (5e Background)

This page is incomplete and/or lacking flavor. Reason: This is an odd concept that seems to combine aspects of a healer and a... enlightened person? Overall, it doesn't make a lot of sense as a background. It is given a flavor of just someone that sees the ... hardships of others? But that's not really what a background is in 5e. Backgrounds should reflect what an adventurer did before, and have ribbon features tied to it. The closest this gets is MAYBE the haunted one, but that one also has a tie to certain activities in Ravenloft... Please refer to how official backgrounds are written for help.

You have been touched by something that gives you a third perspective in life allowing you to see the woes and troubles of people, Was it some sort of holy entity? A demon trying to make your life worse? A wizard that casted the wrong spell? Picked up a cursed object? What ever gave you this ability it is something that you have now, And you may have plans for what you want to do with this ability. Use it for money? Use it to help those in needs? Use it to assist your friends? It's all so many different options... Might as well get to using it now.
Skill Proficiencies: Insight, Perception Tool Proficiencies: Alchemist’s supplies and a musical instrument of your choice
Languages: Common and 2 extra common languages
Equipment: A belt holding 15 Potions of healing, A set of fine clothing, A pocket mirror, A healer's kit and a pouch containing 30 gold.

You can support somebody by giving them a supportive hug, This normally causes tears to the person your supporting.
Alternate Feature: Powerful kiss[edit]
If a creature is hurt you can give their wound a little kiss to main the pain subside away.
