Immutable Form. The greyblade is immune to any spell or effect that would alter its form.

Spell Mastery. The greystaff can cast misty step and fog cloud without using spell slots.

Innate Spellcasting. The greystaff is a 19th-level spellcaster. The greystaff's spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 24, +16 to hit with spell attacks). The greystaff has the following spells prepared, requiring no verbal components:

Cantrips (at will): fire bolt*, frostbite*, infestation, message, toll the dead
1st level (4 slots): absorb elements, magic missile*, shield
2nd level (3 slots): hold person, mind spike, mirror image
3rd level (3 slots): counterspell, dispel magic, fireball*, haste, lightning bolt*
4th level (3 slots): banishment, blight, greater invisibility, vitriolic sphere*
5th level (3 slots): conjure elemental, temporal shunt, cone of cold*
6th level (2 slots): create undead, Tenser's transformation
7th level (2 slots): finger of death, teleport
8th level (1 slot): antimagic field, demiplane
9th level (1 slot): blade of disaster, prismatic wall
*Evocation spell

Potent Cantrips. When a creature succeeds on a saving throw against a cantrip cast by the greystaff, the creature takes half the cantrip's damage (if any) but suffers no additional effect from the cantrip.

Empowered Evocation (1/Turn). The greystaff adds its Intelligence modifier to any one spell damage roll.

Magic Resistance. The greystaff has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Magic Weapons. The greystaff's weapon attacks are magical.

Overchannel. When greystaff casts a spell of 1st through 5th level that deals damage, it can deal maximum damage with that spell.
The first time it does so, it suffers no adverse effect. If it uses this feature again it takes 2d12 necrotic damage for each level of the spell, immediately after it's cast. Each time it uses this feature again, the necrotic damage per spell level increases by 1d12. This damage ignores resistance and immunity.

Sculpt Spell. When greystaff casts an evocation spell that affects other creatures that it can see, it can choose a number of them equal to 1 + the spell's level. The chosen creatures automatically succeed on their saving throws against the spell, and they take no damage if they would normally take half damage on a successful save.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The greystaff makes two attacks.

Greystaff Spear. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 4) piercing damage and 4 (1d8) force damage.

They know no good nor evil, only power and the pursuit of power. Made with Bing Ai.

An outsider from the true neutral plane of the Outlands. These creatures seek no purpose beyond perfecting and honing their fighting abilities, both martial and magical. As such a long lived greyblade is a truly threatening force on the battlefield.
