Greater Coven Casting [Coven]

Apply free metamagic feats when near coven members.

Prerequisite: Combat Casting, caster level 13th., Coven Initiate, Coven Casting, Improved Coven Casting

Benefit: As long as you are with your coven, you can draw on great fonts of spell power. Whenever you cast a spell within 30 feet of at least two other members of your coven, you may choose to apply a metamagic feat you know to the spell without using up a higher level spell slot. The number of coven members you are near determines how powerful a metamagic feat you can apply: for every two coven members within 30 feet of you, you can apply one effective spell level of metamagic For example, in order to apply the Still Spell feat to a spell you were casting, you would need to be within 30 feet of at least two members of your coven, as Still Spell normally increases the spell slot of a spell it modifies by one. Similarly, in order to apply Quicken Spell in this way you would need to be within 30 feet of at least eight other members of your coven.
