A great annulat is a large ring, roughly four feet in diameter. The inner edge of the ring is dull, so that it can be held, while the outer edge is honed sharp.
If the wielder has the Weapon Finesse feat, she can apply her Dexterity modifiers to attack rolls with a great annulat sized for her, even though it isn't a light weapon.
