Abilities: The Grave Cleric deals with the dead, and abilities reflect that.

Races: Any.

Alignment: Normally evil aligned, but neutral works also.

Starting Gold: 4d6×10 gp.

Starting Age: "Moderate"

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Grave Cleric.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: All Simple Weapons, and light armor.

Call of the Grave - Cloud of fog rises from the earth and covers a 30 ft area around the Grave Cleric, rising the dead in the area under the Grave Clerics control. Control lasts until the cleric looses or drops concentration, when the control ends the zombies act normally. At 3rd level and every 3 levels there after the Grave Cleric's Call of the Grave ability lasts an aditional round after concentration, and she can bolster her creatures. The Undead increase HD by 1, and strength by 2.

Grasping Grave - skeletal hands come forth the ground in a rage of 120 where the Grave Cleric can see, grasping the legs and entering grapple. The Hands have a +10 to grapple, and an additional +2 per section the opponent is in the ground. Ankels to knees, knees to waist, waist to chest, chest to head, and finally the opponent submurges into the ground. If the opponent wins a grapple after the first they go back one section. At 7th level the grapple bonus becomes +15, at 14th level +20.

Return thy Blood - A Grave Cleric can heal her allies who stand in their own blood by returning it to their bodies. They can heal 1d10+wisdom modifier. They can use this ability 1 day + wisdom modifier. This ability increases to 2d10+wisdom modifier at forth and an addition d10 at every 4 levels after, to 6d10+wisdom modifier at 20th level.

Deathwatch - As spell of Cleric equal to Grave Cleric Levels - at will

Deathknell - As spell of Cleric equal to Grave Cleric Levels - at will

Path to the Grave - curse one creature within 60 ft and that the Grave Cleric can see, the next attack that strikes the creature is a critical attack, effects any type of creature

Speak with Dead - As spell of Cleric equal to Grave Cleric Levels - at will

Rebuke Undead - As Cleric, Cleric levels equal Grave Cleric Levels

Eyes of the Soul - a Grave Cleric know how hearty her opponents are, she knows the HD and number of HD for any creature she can see within 30 feet of her and under the Deathwatch spell effect.

Sentinel - A Grave Cleric can use their Reaction (AoO) to stop a critical hit upon an ally within 30 ft of the cleric, the attack follows as normal, but no longer a critical strike.

Soul Keeper - A Grave Cleric can collect the souls of the dead when they die within 30 feet of Grave Cleric. She can use to Souls to bolster or heal her allies. A Grave cleric can hold a number of souls per Grave Cleric Level + wisdom modifier and they can be held onto for 14 days. Bolster Ally - the bolstered ally gains bonuses to 1 stat equal to the soul's creature Hit dice, 4,6,8,10,12 - this effect lasts 1 minute per Grave Cleric Level, only 1 stat can be effected at a time, this ability increases to 2 stats at 15th level Heal Ally - The Grave cleric can use the soul to heal a wounded ally, she can heal 100 hp per soul used, this ability increases to 150 hp at 15th level

Soul Lock - Once per week, up to the Grave Cleric's wisdom modifier in allies the Grave Cleric can lock the soul in the body. This effect brings the ally back to life with 1 hp if a killing blow was made, as an reaction (AoO) the Grave Cleric can spend a kept soul to heal her ally. Soul Lock stays in effect until expended.

Master of Souls - At 20th Level the Grave Cleric understands death in a whole new way. She can now hold souls indefinatly. In addition she can perminently bolster her allies with the souls of the dead, increaseing 1 stat to the soul's creature HD.
