Goblins[edit]

That's not fair. How come we always have to go in front?
—Niche, dissatisfied grayband goblin infantry member.

The goblins are the enslaved working class of Bas'Mera, a species that has been given nothing but the dregs of life. They are kicked around by both the ogres and trolls, and have the lowest and dirtiest jobs possible. they are often enlisted in Bas'Mera's army, and have an extremely high death rate, species-wise. however, all of this has made the goblin race into a people of survivalists. Goblins are arranged into different Bands, which are marked by colors (blackband, redband, grayband, etc.) The band system is so that the ogres can keep track of the many goblins. Goblins are often about three feet in height.

Forest Goblins[edit]

Forest goblins are no better then animals and should be treated as such.
—Hack, troll general.

Forest goblins are a more primitive and wild version of their urban cousins, dwelling in the forests of Bas'Mera and sometimes spilling into Rytha as well. The ogres and trolls alternate between ignoring them and attempting to stamp them out. Forest goblins are about four feet in height.
