Archery Fighting Style. The gloom stalker has a +2 bonus to its ranged attack rolls (included in the attack).

Dread Ambusher. The gloom stalker adds its Wisdom modifier to its initiative rolls.

Spellcasting. The gloom stalker is a 10th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 14, +6 to hit with spell attacks). It knows the following ranger spells:

1st level (4 slots): disguise self, fog cloud, goodberry, hunter's mark
2nd level (3 slots): rope trick, pass without trace, silence, spike growth
3rd level (3 slots): cause fear, conjure animals

Stalker's Fury (1/Turn). When the gloom stalker misses with a weapon attack during its action, it can make an additional weapon attack as part of that same action.

Umbral Stealth. When the gloom stalker is in darkness, it is invisible to any creature that relies on darkvision to see the gloom stalker in that darkness.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The gloom stalker makes three scimitar attacks, or two longbow attacks.

Scimitar. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) slashing damage.

Longbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, range 150/600 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 4) piercing damage.


Gloom stalkers are at home in the darkest places: deep under the earth, in gloomy alleyways, in primeval forests, and wherever else the light dims. They are adept at staying hidden in the darkness.
