Keen Smell. The caracal has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.

Pounce. If the caracal moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a claw attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the caracal can make one bite attack against it as a bonus action.

Running Leap. With a 10-foot running start, the caracal can long jump up to 40 feet.

Standing Leap. The caracal's long jump is up to 30 feet and its high jump is up to 20 feet, with or without a running start.

ACTIONS

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage.

Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (2d4 + 2) slashing damage.

A caracal is a kind of cat common to the same sort of habitats as lions. Caracals are adept jumpers, able to leap 10 feet into the air while only being the size of a terrier. So it stands to reason the giant caracal would be a more fearsome predator; They can leap height that would rival most athletes. However, like their smaller cousins, giant caracals prefer birds to other types of prey.
