Ghost (Ghosts)[edit]

Personality[edit]

Ghosts are lost souls, often having died with an unfinished goal or objective in mind. others have been trapped and cursed to wander the earth. they spend their days blending in and avoiding vision. attacking those they deem threatening. Ghosts do not interact with other creatures if at all possible and tend to prefer their own company.

Physical Description[edit]

Ghosts can take on the form of any creature within one size class of the base size thanks to their ability to shift and manipulate their form at ease. Though all Ghosts levitate. they may appear as though they are walking but will make no sound.

Relations[edit]

Ghosts try their best to avoid other races. but a Ghost who died as an elf in their past life, will try to spend their time around other elves or in elven lands. and vice versa for other races.

Alignment[edit]

Most Ghost are chaotic neutral but it largely depends on the soul of the creature that came before.

Lands[edit]

Ghosts can be found in dark, cold areas. or generally in desolate lands where living beings tend not to roam.

Religion[edit]

Ghosts only worship a religion if a deity is the thing keeping them on the earth.

Language[edit]

Ghosts speak Common and often one other language they knew in life.

Names[edit]

A Ghost may choose the name they had int heir past life or choose to hold a new identity.

Racial Traits[edit]

  • +5 Dex, +2 Wis, -2 Str, -4 Cha
  • Humanoid
  • Medium, as medium creatures they gain no perks or debuffs due to their size.
  • Ghosts have 30ft base land speed and ignore rough terrain.
  • Dark-Vision (Ex), Ghosts can see 60ft with no light source due to their time spent wandering dark rooms or areas.
  • +4 Racial bonus to stealth based checks.
  • +2 Racial bonus to intimidation checks, ghosts are normally myth and people will often flee at the sight of one.
  • Disguise Self Lvl/day: Ghosts are able to shift their form at will, and can become any creature one size class larger or smaller than their own. this is a physical ability and is unaffected by dispel magic. lasts for 1 hour.
  • True Form 1/day: Ghosts have a material form and are affected my physical matter as any normal creature would be, however once per day they can alter their bodies in a way where physical matter seems to not affect them. they can phase through any solid object and cannot interact with physical matter in any way. Ghosts cannot be seen or heard while in their true form, this ability lasts for 5 minutes.
  • Automatic Languages: Common, Abyssal . Bonus Languages: Elven, Orc, Goblin, Celestial.
  • Favored Class: Rogue.
  • Level Adjustment: +0
