Ghost-touched[edit]

"Poor things, ghost-touched belong to neither the mortal world nor the afterlife." -Kaz the Scholar

Physical Description[edit]

A combination of ghostly and mortal, ghost-touched look mostly like regular humans, with the exception of glowing blue eyes and transparent blue body parts. A ghost-touched may have any given part of their body transparent. The amount of transparent body parts varies from person to person. A faint blue vapor trails from the transparent parts. Ghost-touched can hover slightly if they choose, but never more than a foot above the ground. Other than this, a ghost-touched looks like any other human (or other race).

Ghostly Transformation[edit]

Ghost-touched are created from a regular mortal who has touched a ghost and been cursed. When touching a ghost, many feel a cold chill accompanied by the feeling that part of their soul has died. The curse then changes the mortal body in a drastic way. The process of body parts being changed to ghostly is often extremely painful and many ghost-touched feel a phantom pain. The parts of the body that are transformed is completely random. Because of the transformation, ghost-touched cannot taste food, feel sensory elements, or reproduce.

Attitudes and Beliefs[edit]

Ghost-touched attitude can vary, but in general they have a vengeful attitude towards the ghost that cursed them, and desire revenge. After being touched, their lives were completely changed and ghost-touched are spiteful because of it. As outcasts of society, many ghost-touched form groups to share their pain and live in a welcoming community. Ghost-touched societies often settle far away from society so that they cannot be persecuted.
