Geography (Steel and Ash Supplement)
From D&D Wiki
The Continent of Kyrellia is split into five major regions, each controlled by a faction:
The North[edit]
The north of Kyrellia features rugged mountains and extensive mineral deposits, including one of the major Zenar mines. Icy tundras and extensive mineral rich areas can be found here.
The climate is cold, stricken with cold winters and short, cool summers.
Main Beasts and Monsters in this region[edit]
Frost Giants: Rulers of the northern mountains, these giants are powerful and often raid settlements for supplies.
Automaton Guardians: Created by the Iron Dominion, these constructs patrol industrial areas and protect valuable Zenar mines.
Ice Elementals: Formed from the intense cold, these beings guard the northern wilderness and pose a threat to miners and travelers.
Clockwork Dragons: Mechanical dragons powered by Zenar, used by the Iron Legion in warfare.
The Iron Dominion[edit]
Population: Around 5 million (predominantly human, with a significant minority population of dwarfs and gnomes); Capital: Titanhold; Government: Technocratic Autocracy; Leader: Archon Valeria Rax (visionary technocrat who rose to power through her innovations in Zenar-powered technology);
The Iron Dominion is a highly industrialized nation ruled by a council of technocrats. Their society is built on technological advancement, with a strong emphasis on military power. They control one of the two major Zenar mines, and their cityscape is dominated by towering factories and steam-powered machinery.
The Main Features of this region are:
- Military Might: The Iron Legion is their elite army, equipped with advanced weaponry and Zenar-powered war machines.
- Innovative Industry: They lead in technological innovations, from automatons to airships.
- Rigid Control: The government maintains strict control over the populace, ensuring stability but at the cost of personal freedoms.

A governing body composed of the most skilled and influential engineers, scientists, and military leaders. They advise the Archon and oversee different sectors such as defense, industry, and research.
