A once powerful King on the material plane whom had lost Thousands of his people to an attacking army from the far north. Enraged and seeking revenge, the king decided to wage war on the northern kingdom of Orro. To prove that he was still worthy of kingship, Galagus ordered all soldiers to stay behind the walls of Galagium amd defend it until he returned from war. Anticipating a massive force of warriors, Orro sent forth its entire army to combat the Galagians, but instead found only the lone King. After nine days of consecutive battle, the Orronians were no more. Galagus proceeded to the Orronian kingdom itself, and laid waste to its cities. When he had completed his quest and not a single Orronian remained, he returned to his kingdom and found it ruled by a new king. Enraged once more, he stormed the gate and slaughtered all who dared challenge him. Soon after the reclaimation of the Galagian throne, Galagus banished himself and vanished into legend. Some say He travels in-between the material plane and Celestial often in order to bring great warriors into the place they deserve, and to train upcoming great generals, soldiers and heroes. Others say he sought punishment and dwells in agony among the infernal. There are occasional whispers of his return from the Galagian remnants, but none believe such tales.
Among the deities Galagus is somewhat of a peculiarity being only recognized as a quasi-deitie or hero deity, but having the power of a rank 17 Deity. His influence and opinion is highly respected among deities due to his calm demeanor and wise advice, traits that he never displayed outwardly in mortal life. It is rumored that upon being accepted as a new deity, he briefly battled with Tiamat who believed he was beneath the power of all deity ranks. Galagus won, and sapped much of her power from her, earning his place as a God.
