Freezeshooter (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Freezeshooter
Prerequisites: Proficiency with bows or crossbows
Ice magic has begun to manifest itself from the palms of your hands and you have learned to infuse arrows with it.
- You can spend 10 minutes and up to 30 arrows (or bolts) to transform them into "frozen arrows." If used in one of his own ranged attacks, these arrows deal +1 additional cold damage and reduce the movement speed of the hit target by 10 feet (Non-stackable) until the end of their next turn.
- As an action, you can channel your ice magic into a ranged attack roll, giving it a +5 bonus. For every 10 feet away from the target, this bonus decreases by -1 (ie at 20 feet it is a +4 bonus, at 70 feet it is a -1 penalty). In a hit, the target is frozen for a number of rounds equal to the number of feet the arrow traveled divided by 5. They may attempt a DC 18 Strength saving throw at the end of each of their turns, successfully ending this effect. It can be used once, recovering its use at the end of a long rest.
