Foxkin[edit]

Physical Description[edit]

Foxkin are an anthropomorphic, humanoid fox-like race that have a red, white, or grayish coat depending on the subrace. They have large, bushy tails, triangular ears, pointed snout, and digitigrade legs with paws. They have black eyes with blue, amber, green, yellow, or grey irises with slit pupils. Grey Foxkin are certainly the smallest, often not being much taller than 5 feet, then next smallest is Arctic Foxkin, averaging at 5’6”, then Red Foxkin, at around 5’8”, and silver Foxkin at 6’

History[edit]

Foxkin, from the outside, don’t look like they have much history or formed society, but that isn’t true at all. Although they are shut away from other societies, they have a considerably deep and rich culture and history. They believe in bloodlines and destiny, doing rituals to bless each baby born, as they believe that each bloodline and Kin is just as important as the last. They don’t worship a god, but rather, worship their ancestors, more or less. Their ancestors were very strong, and very connected to other worlds, being able to move between planes with ease, and were even considered a spellcasting race, to the point where they were considered gods by some races. But, it’s been a very long time, and Foxkin have been forgotten by many, only loosely told about by legend.

Society[edit]

As a society, they are very communal and trusting of each other, living in small communities, most know each other. They may or may not use standard currency, depending how connected they are to other societies. They, however, are not very trusting of others, and often could be racist, unfortunately. They believe in destiny, and that magic and power is passed down through bloodlines.

Foxkin Names[edit]

Foxkin are named by their parents, often given Vulpan and Common names, the common name to be used by outsiders and unknown people, while the Vulpan name was more official, formal, and to be used by friends and family. There aren’t strict gender dividers. They also may gain nicknames.
