Rigid Caste: Formians live their lives according to an inviolable caste system. Therefore you must choose which cast your Formian will belong to, allowing you to gain the associated trait(s). The three Formian casts are Worker, Warrior, and Myrmarch.
Worker Formian: Earthmover Caste: You gain a +5 bonus to skill checks in order to lift or carry anything. In addition you have burrow 5 and tremorsense while burrowed.
Worker Formian: Small Body, Long Legs: You are a Small creature. However, your long legs allow you to reach farther than most other creatures of your size, allowing you to ignore this creature's Small size when determining melee range.
Warrior Formian: Tireless Guardian: You were bred to protect the Formian workers from threats and this specialization has allowed you to go days without stopping to rest or eat. Whenever you and your allies would take an Extended Rest you may instead choose to forego taking this rest to regain Healing Surges equal to your Constitution modifier and guard your allies. While guarding your allies you cannot be surprised by enemy creatures and gain Tremorsense.
Warrior Formian: Small Body, Long Legs: You are a Small creature. However, your long legs allow you to reach farther than most other creatures of your size, allowing you to ignore this creature's Small size when determining melee range.
Myrmarch Formian: Bred for War: While Formian warriors were bred to defend the workers you were created to go to war against enemies of the hive. You are a medium sized creature.
Myrmarch Formian: Chitinous Armor: Your naturally thick armor protects you from enemy attacks, granting you a +1 Racial bonus to your AC.
