Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the world cleaver fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Limited Magic Immunity. The world cleaver can't be affected or detected by spells of 6th level or lower unless it wishes to be. It has advantage on saving throws against all other spells and magical effects.

Magic Weapon. The world cleaver's attacks are magical.

Siege Monster. The world cleaver deals double damage to objects and structures.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The world cleaver can use its Frightful Presence. It then makes three longsword attacks.

Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +18 to hit, reach 30 ft., one target. Hit: 55 (10d8 + 10) slashing damage. This damage ignores resistance to slashing damage.

Cleave. The world cleaver whirls in every direction, cutting its way through everything in its reach. Each creature within 30 feet of the world cleaver must make a DC 23 Dexterity saving throw, taking 55 (10d8 + 10) slashing damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. This damage ignores resistance to slashing damage.

Destroy. The world cleaver makes one longsword attack against a creature of Huge size or smaller. If the attack hits, and the creature has 50 hit points or fewer after taking damage from the attack, it dies.

Frightful Presence. Each creature of the world cleaver's choice within 120 feet of it and aware of it must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, with disadvantage if the world cleaver is within line of sight, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the world cleaver's Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.

Hellfire Storm. The world cleaver magically creates four bolts of hellfire, each of which can strike a target the world cleaver can see within 600 feet of it. A target must make a DC 23 Dexterity saving throw, taking 11 (2d10) fire damage and 11 (2d10) necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.


A world cleaver is an impossibly large sword, too broad and too long even for giants to wield, measuring 50 feet in length and 5 feet in width. It is forged of a jet black alien metal with wave-bladed edges throughout which scarlet "veins" of energy pulsate with dark power. These swords fly swiftly through the air under their own power, much like a flying sword, except they are not just significantly larger, they seem to be imbued with a very malevolent intelligence. Whatever race wielded these swords is presumed to have disappeared ages ago, leaving the sentient blades to their own devices. It is almost certainly for the best, for the makers of these weapons must have been horrors in their own right.

Constructed Nature. A flying world cleaver doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep.
