Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Flatumancer.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Not proficient with any weapons or armor, yet this does not stop most from using them anyway.

Gassy: Flatumancers have the ability to fart on command. Also eating foods that make people fart more often (such as beans) will give a temporary +1 to Spellcraft lasting about 6 hours.

Spells: Flatumancers choose their spells from the following list:

0—Solid gas cloud: The Flatumancer farts in such a way that they produce a cloud of gas anywhere (Flatumancer's choice) between a 1 ft cube to a 2 foot cube of solid gas. This is similar to a small rounded box. The Flatumancer must make a concentration check of 10 to keep the box solid every round or while multitasking. If they fail the cloud disperses into a foul odor.

Ray of gas: The Flatumancer points their rear towards their opponent and blasts a ray of gas. This has a range of 30 ft and deals 1d2 of Con damage and lasts until the target has had a long rest.

Gas armor: The Flatumancer surrounds themselves in a cloud of gas. It lasts for 1d4 turns. It feels particularly dense and provides a +1 touch AC while the spell is active.

Cup a Fart: The Flatumancer attempts to think a message into a fart. First they roll for spellcraft and must get at least a 5. Then they roll for concentration. If they get a 5 or lower then the message becomes garbled and incomprehensible. If they roll at least a 10 then it's mostly there but some key parts are missing. If they roll a 15 or higher then the message is perfect. Then the Flatumancer must throw the ball of gas to their intended target.

Toot toot: The Flatumancer shoots their target with two fast moving gas projectiles that deal 1D4-1 each.

Silence is golden: The Flatumancer must make a spellcraft check of 14. If successful then Flatumancies are silent for 1d8 rounds.

Hold it in: The Flatumancer must stay perfectly still while casting this Flatumancy. The Flatumancer receives a +2 to spellcraft and concentration for 1d8 rounds.

Gassy lights: The Flatumancer produces colored gasses for up to an hour. These are not solid and appear as tentacle like. The Flatumancer may spend a turn to roll for concentration (must get at least a 15) to make the tentacles solid if they also know the Flatumancy Solid gas cloud. Doing so exhausts an additional lvl 0 spell for the day.

Scented Candle: The Flatumancer farts and produces a sweet scent. This is similar to that of Roses and Chocolate.

1st—Gas rocket: The Flatumancer farts at such a high speed that it forces their body into the air. This is essentially a 30 ft vertical jump. This cannot be used to travel any direction other than up.

Pop a squat: The Flatumancer squats into position and farts. this catapults the user 30ft forward.

Flatutation: The Flatumancer farts at a steady rate causing a levitation effect. This lasts for 10 minutes or until the Flatumancer cancels the spell.

2nd—Sonic Blast: The Flatumancer farts at a frequency that forces any nearby living creature to make a Constitution save. If they roll a 10 or lower then they will become deaf for 1d6 rounds.

Vortex: The Flatumancer causes a reverse fart, this causes nearby objects and creatures (within 5 feet) that weigh less then 5 pounds to be pulled towards them.

3rd—Sometimes it burns: The Flatumancer must have drunken alcohol with the last hour. The Flatumancer is able to produce a flamethrower that has a range of 30 ft and deals 1d10 fire damage last 1d3 rounds.

4th—Anti Magic Cloud: The Flatumancer creates a cloud of gas that absorbs all magical energy so spellcasting is impossible. This is a 20 ft. radius and lasts for 1d6 turns.

8th—Tornado: The Flatumancer causes a reverse fart so powerful that it pulls any object or creature that weighs less than 200 pounds towards them.

9th—Summon gas giant: The Flatumancer summons a gas giant. The gas giant stays for 24 hours or until it is dismissed.

Earth shatter: The Flatumancer fart is so intense that the ground fissures beneath them. The chasm that's left behind is 100 ft deep and a mile long.

Time Ripple: The Flatumancers fart causes a ripple through time. This rewinds time back by either 1 round of combat or by 6 minutes.

Asstomic Blast: The Flatumancer releases a fart powerful enough to be compared to a nuclear explosion. Any Creature or object within 5 miles take 20d20 worth of force damage, followed by 1d6 of Constitution damage.

Exflatumancers[edit]

The only known way to become an exflatumancer is by losing the ability to fart. If this happens then the exflatumancer cannot perform any spells.

Flatumancer Lore[edit]

Characters with ranks in Knowledge Arcana can research Flatumancers to learn more about them. When a character makes a skill check, read or paraphrase the following, including information from lower DCs.

knowledge arcana
DC Result
5 They fart. A lot.
10 They use spells by farting.
15 The worse smelling the fart, the stronger the magic.
20 Powerful Flatumancers use food items to increase the potency of their spells.

Flatumancers in the Game[edit]

Flatumancers are few far and wide. Flatumancy is a gift so rare most do not dare to believe it could be real. It is said that the highest level flatumancers have conquered feats such as slaying a tarrasque with a single fart.

Adaptation: Each Flatumancer is free to choose which Flatumancies he learns and therefore is the shaper of their own destiny and paths in life.

Sample Encounter: *fart*
