Flareback Shifter (5e Subrace)

Shifter Subrace[edit]
Flareback shifters are flashy and confident, typically tied to bioluminescent animals, such as fireflies or fire beetles. You may have an insectile shell across your back, which glows bright when you shift.
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 2, and your Charisma score increases by 1.
Flash. You have proficiency with the Performance skill. If you are already proficient with this skill, you gain proficiency with another skill of your choice.
Shifting Feature. While shifted, you shed bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet, and at the end of each of your turns, each creature of your choice within 10 feet must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier) or become blinded until the start of your next turn.
