The firefinger cantrip enables the caster to cause a jet of flame up to a half foot long to shoot forth from his or her finger. The flame is hot and ignites combustible materials such as parchment, twigs, kindling, and the like without difficulty, providing the materials are relatively dry. The flame persists for up to 1 segment. This could inflict 1 hp of Fire Damage unless the target makes a successful Reflex save.
The verbal component is a word of power over elemental fire (such as “ron-son,” “zip-po.” or the much revered “dun-hill.” extends the forefinger, and makes a sideways motion with the thumb.
