Fingertip Stalker (5e Creature)
From D&D Wiki
Fingertip Stalker[edit]
Large aberration (shapechanger), chaotic neutral Armor Class 14
Skills Athletics +6, Deception +5, Perception +4 Shapechanger. The fingertip stalker can use its action to polymorph into a Small or Medium humanoid, or back into its true form. Its statistics are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies. Magic Resistance. The fingertip stalker has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects. Regeneration. The fingertip stalker regains 10 hit points at the start of its turn. If the fingertip stalker takes radiant damage or damage from a wooden weapon, this trait doesn't function at the start of the fingertip stalker's next turn. The fingertip stalker dies only if it starts its turn with 0 hit points and doesn't regenerate. Suffocating Gaze. When a creature that can see the fingertip stalker's eyes starts its turn within 30 feet of the fingertip stalker, the fingertip stalker can force it to make a DC 12 Charisma saving throw if the fingertip stalker isn't incapacitated and can see the creature. On a failed save, the creature begins suffocating. An affected creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. The effect also ends when the fingertip stalker dies. ACTIONSMultiattack. The fingertip stalker makes two attacks with its fists. Fist. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it is grappled (escape DC 14). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the fingertip stalker can't grapple another target.
