Saving Throws Con +5 Restorative Hunger. For every pound of food the festerheart eats, it regains 5 hit points. Spellcasting. The festerheart is a 7th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 13, +5 to hit with spell attacks). It has the following druid spells prepared: Cantrips (at will): druidcraft, produce flame, shillelagh ACTIONSMultiattack. The festerheart makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its quarterstaff. Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage and the festerheart regains hit points equal to the damage dealt. Quarterstaff. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit (+5 with shillelagh), reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage, 6 (1d8 + 2) bludgeoning damage if wielded with two hands, or 7 (1d8 + 3) bludgeoning damage with shillelagh. Gory Feast. The festerheart feeds on the corpse of one creature within reach that died within the past minute. The festerheart regains 9 (2d8) hit points and gains advantage on Strength-based attack rolls, Strength checks, and Strength saving throws for 1 minute.

Sowers are festerhearts who have gained some kind of connection with the forces of nature, twisted though it may be. The sowers use this connection to cast spells, which they use to assail their enemies and support other festerhearts. |
